Just a swinging

Dad bought me a swing and hung it up on the back porch so that I can hang out with him while he BBQs. I LOVE to be outside and even though I was a little hesitant at first, I really enjoy my new swing.

I even think it tastes pretty good.

Little Pierson James is 6 months old today!!! Where has the time gone? PJ had his well baby check up today and here are the stats:

• Weight 18.6 (66%)
• Height 27 1/2 (83%)
• Head 18 (92%) - all those big brains gotta go somewhere
• He is becoming more and more mobile by rolling or scooting to where he wants to go, especially if there is something he can get ahold of and put in his mouth.
• He especially likes toys that makes noise or plays music.
• He is sitting up by himself but only for short periods of time.
• Finding his voice, really likes to squeal for attention
• Likes to play the "drop the toy on the ground and see how many times mom/dad will pick it up" game - we've nipped this in the bud :)
• Loves to be outside
• Working on new techniques of sleeping; He still wants to be swaddled but he really doesn't fit into the blankets anymore and he can squirm out pretty quickly

This hardly ever happens without a fight, however, I was trying to keep him up and put him in the crib to look at the mobile and this is what happened.

Sometimes he just likes to sleep like this.

Outing at the park. This was taken after the worst diaper explosion you have ever seen! It was so bad that we threw the onsie he was wearing in the trash. PJ was in a much better mood after that though :)
