Some of PJ's firsts

I had some trouble with posting pictures tonight, so some of these pictures are out of order but they are still fun to look at. :) PJ started school this past week (& I went back to work too). These are two of PJ's sweet teachers. He loves them already. He hasn't once cried when I've handed him over to them. They say that he doesn't give them too hard of a time...I hope that's true.
This is how PJ rolls from his back to his belly...he uses his head. It is hilarious! He will rub his face into the blanket until he has enough momentum to roll all the way over.

This is how PJ entertains himself while I get ready in the morning.

Cute PJ getting ready for bed. Look at that little tuff of hair that sticks straight up, too cute.

Playing with my dad
His new trick!! He leans all the way back and rest on dad and
then, he will propel himself all the way up...

just like this. PJ loves to do this. He is such a strong boy!

Yes, I know that he is technically too young for the jumperoo but he
does like as long as I am close by. This is a special toy given to us by
our friends Jennifer and CJ. Thanks guys!
He absolutely loves this game. He starts off laying on his back and I'll grab his hands and pull him into a sitting position and then pull him all the way up.
He will smile and giggle every single time.

Ending position, ta-da
PJ can roll. This was last Sunday (1/18/09) and his very first roll. We haven't seen him roll from his belly to his back again, but he has gotten down the back to the belly.
We got in on video tonight.

While daddy's away....

PJ has been sick and needed to stay home for a week and after a little encouragement from my boss, we decided that two weeks at home would even be better. Well, you can guess who got cabin fever. Actually, I think that we both did. And, this past week, Clint had to go on a business trip so I decided to introduce some new activities/toys to PJ. Here are some of his finer moments.

PJ will be going back to work with me this next week so that means more pictures. I have to take pictues of his first day of preschool! Hope all goes well. The only problem is that he is now refusing a bottle since he has been sick. I sure do hope we can work that out over the weekend.

3 Months Old

Today, PJ is 3 months old. The time is just flying by with this sweet boy. He is such a joy and has brought so much happiness to our family. Here are some of PJ's stats:

  • He weighs about 14 lbs (I weighed him on our scale at home so it is approximate)
  • No teeth yet but lots of drool
  • He loves to look at himself in the mirror and smile. You may find me in the bathroom with my baby on the vanity in times of stress because it calms him down so much
  • He still hasn't mastered rolling over just yet but he is super close. He will roll onto his sides and just stay there with one leg hanging in the air as to balance himself.
  • PJ enjoys songs with hand motions, which mommy sings everday
  • Bathtime is loads of smiles and smiles
  • Talks (Babbles) up a storm, wonder who he takes after?
  • He has certainly discovered his hands, loves to eat them even after he has just eaten!
  • He likes to ride in the car...as long as there are no stop signs, red lights, ect.

Just discovered this kicking toy today and PJ loved it!

Joining the blogging world

After lurking, stalking and reading many other people's blogs, I have decided to start one for our family. I hope to use this as a way of updating our friends and family who do not live close to us. We had a fun, yet busy holiday season full of family, lots of gifts and many germs! Here are some photos of the fun moments:
