PJ Happenings this month

I forgot to mention some of the things PJ is up to this month in my last post and I certainly don't want to forget any of these special moments. At about 7 1/2 months:
  • blowing raspberries all the time, especially at church
  • cutting three teeth!!! We just noticed the third one tonight. That will make 5 teeth once they are all in...amazing.
  • able to walk forward in his walker a little bit. Up to this point he has only been able to go backwards.
  • not really interested in crawling just yet. He can get to where he wants to go by rolling or reaching and if that doesn't work he'll just yell until someone moves him.
  • Sits independently without falling over.
  • enjoys all fruits and veggies so far. (green beans are not his favorite though but he'll eat them)
  • Officially sleeps in his own bed!!! I know, it has been a long time coming. We had him in the pack n' play in our room and I LOVED having him that close to me but we all seem to sleep better now that everyone is in their own room.
  • very ticklish on the insides of his thighs and under his neck.
  • can say "mama" although it is usually when he is mad; has also started saying "ba ba"

Where has all the time gone...7 months old

I can not believe that we have a 7 month old!!!! He is such a sweet boy and mixes in with our family just beautifully. He is starting to develop quite the personality and we love discovering new things about him each and every day. Please enjoy some of the latest pictures.

7 month shot with Pedro (PJ used to be a little scared of the bear but now will just laugh at his new "playmate")

Look at that big boy and his little Nike shoes (thanks Hahn family)

Reading one of his many books (thanks Ms. Ta)
Matching with mom

Learning to drive a little early

PJ at his first Texas Rangers Game. He was a little nervous at first when the crown got real loud but soon he was enjoying the game. He feel asleep about half way thru and didn't wake up until we were on our way to the car. What a little trooper!

I love this. He is learning to play the guitar with dad's help. I wish I had taken a picture of him about 10 minutes later...sleeping in dad's arms. I think we may have learned a new way of getting him to go to sleep.

He has officially graduated to the big bath tub.
